GROWING SCALLION IN  MARS SIMULANT SOIL
May 5, 2023

Jessica Linson  presented the final report for the plant the moon/plant mars challenge.   Jessica was able to grow scallions in mars simulant soil    mixed with earth soil. However, the next challenge was to grow it to produce biomass as much as the earth soil.   This project was supported by NASA's Missouri Space Grant Consortium and Jordan Valley Innovation Center.  Other students who participated in these projects were Presto Clubb, Maximo Reyes,  Brooke Winder, and Riley Pope.
